Best noise colors for studying
Choose a sound you can ignore while it quietly blocks the world out:
- Brown noise — deep and calming; great for long revision sessions.
- Pink noise — balanced and natural; linked to better memory in some studies.
- White noise — bright and masking; good in a noisy library or dorm.
How to study with noise
Keep the volume low and steady. Use the Sleep Timer as a study timer for focused sprints with short breaks, and keep the Waves toggle off so the sound stays constant and unobtrusive. If bright sound distracts you, move to pink or brown noise.
